A 2010 Hair Trends Watch

When it comes to appearances, there is no denying the importance of hair. Feeling good about your hair can easily translate to a strong sense of overall confidence, while a "bad hair day" can put a damper on anyone's good mood. Fortunately, one of the best things about hair is its sheer versatility; you can wear it long or short, straight or curly, up or down, and in virtually any color imaginable. This offers a unique opportunity for experimentation, making hairstyles one of the best ways to partake in new and exciting trends - and make no mistake, there are new hair trends emerging each and every year, if not every season. Here are a few of the biggest hair trends to watch in 2010:

# The shoulder-grazing bob. Also known as a "long bob," this look first caught fire when it was spotted on Katie Holmes. Since then, Gwyneth Paltrow has adopted the style, to dazzling effect. It combines the edginess of a classic bob with the femininity of a longer hairstyle, and the extra length means fewer trims are necessary to maintain the look. Long bobs are also very easy to care for and style; most women choose simply to smooth hair with a flat iron and add shine serum for a glossy finish.
# Sideswept bangs. Bangs are a perennial favorite, thanks to their ability to soften any style and complement nearly every face shape. While blunt-cut bangs were all the rage a few years back, many women now prefer the prettier, more romantic vibe that sideswept bangs impart. These longer bangs, seen on celebs like Nicole Richie, are also easier to grow out, making them an ideal compromise for those who are not entirely sold on the concept of fringe.
# Long, curly "fairytale hair." Call it the Taylor Swift Effect! With her back-grazing blonde curls, Taylor has set off a bona fide hair trend that is particularly popular among teens. Fortunately, it is a youth-appropriate look that is easy to duplicate, and maintenance is as simple as removing split ends and curling (if necessary). Expect to see this style at high school proms all over the country this year!

Long Hairstyle Ideas presents 2010 long hairstyle photo styles

The long hair here is in a long-layered style with maximum length in the upper layers, and razor-texturing on the ends of the hair. This long hair is styled to smooth the upper lengths and create maximum volume at the lower 2/3rds of the style. The curls are backcombed to give volume and defined using spray and scrunching.Slightly textured ends give this coiffure the nod and can be designed blowing the long hair on the top for the smoothness and using the spiral iron half way to allow for the fluff upon the ends. The gala would not be complete without warm blonde hair caught into the magnificent array of waves and splendored smoothness upon her fringes that straight hair can give.

Fashion Haircut styles: Jennifer Aniston Sedu Haircut 2009

Fashion Haircut styles: Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston's hair has been admired and adored by a great deal of woman since her appearance as Rachel Green on the television show "Friends". She is well well-known for the jennifer sedu hairstyles and hairstyles that she characteristically wears.
Sedu haircuts are fashioned by using the sedu fast iron get rid of the curl from your hair This effectively makes curly hair straight. Depending upon the number of disulfide bonds between hair proteins within the hair shaft determines whether hair is curly or straight. The more the number of links, the curlier the hair, and the less the number of links, the straighter the hair.Sedu HaircutPeople can temporarily alter their hair to force it into a straight state, or a curly state, but only on a temporary, not on a permanent, basis. People with curly hair may chemically alter their hair to give it a straighter appearance by breaking the strong disulfide bonds. This is essentially how a flat iron works.
An important point to note is the fact that in addition to removing curls, the iron also works to lessen frizz and create a smooth, silky, straight appearance in any length of hair. When the cuticle scales of the hair lie flat and overlap neatly, the hair feels silky soft and has a glossy look to it. If, however, the cuticle scales have been damaged either chemically or physically, the hair will be dull and brittle. Because flat irons work at high temperatures, they can cause damage to the hair. As such a typical, ceramic flat iron will damage your hair with frequent use, causing frizz, split ends and hair that appears dry. However the Sedu flat iron are known to soften the hair and lock in the hair's natural moisture while it straightens. The sedu flat iron uses very high concentrations of negative ions to straighten and de-frizz hair.
If you are wondering how beneficial negative ions are, just take a trip to the beach. Notice, that after playing on the shore, or swimming in the ocean, you feel refreshed. This is due to the action of the waves generating an abundance of negative ions in the air. They literally invigorate our bodies. The negative ions produced by the sedu flat iron, invigorates your hair so to speak, protecting it from damage.
Sedu Haircut
The straight Jennifer Aniston sedu haircut is long lasting and easy to create using the sedu flat iron. One of the paramount benefits of the Sedu flat iron, is that it almost cuts your hair straightening time in half. While a conventional hair iron can take quite a few minutes to heat to full temperature, the Sedu iron will heat to full temperature within about 25 seconds after being turned on.Sedu Haircut
One of the reasons why the Sedu hair cuts are just right for the majority of women is because it never goes out of style! You can sport the sleek, no-frizz look with long, layered locks, or in short, wispy cuts that frame your face. Jennifer Aniston is the perfect example of how the Sedu haircut can be worn in a variety of ways.

Trendy 2009 Fashion Hair Trend: Braided Hair

Braided hair been one of the most obvious beauty trends this year. People seem to have a love-hate relationship with it -some people think it's pretty and some think it's just too cutesy. For most part, I think braids is a cute way to add some girliness to ones hairstyle, but it really depends on how you do it and whether it suits the rest of your look.
Braided Hair

fashion hairstyleThe celebrity that has been sporting braids the most seems to be Lauren Conrad. And if you know Lauren's usual style (-very girly,) then you would probably agree that the braids really suit Lauren.

Fashion Hair Trend

fashion hairstyleThe basic way seems to be braiding the front bit of your hair and pull the briad to one side, and tie all your hair up into a pony tail. Look how well the braid goes with Lauren's style!
And she even manages to use the braid to glam up her whole hairstlye and look.
fashion hairstyleNicole Richie uses the braids to complement her boho, LA style.
fashion hairstyleThen there's the braided up-do.
fashion hairstyleI have to admit I think this hairstyle really doesn't suit Gwen Stefani. It looks so complicated and just... weird on her.
fashion hairstyleI love the way Rachel wore the braid. She manages to wear the braid without looking overly girly, keeping her casual and trendy look.
Despite how cute I think the braid is, I still haven't tried it out yet. It's probably because I don't want to look like I'm 14, but mostly because it requires some effort to pull together (as opposed to doing nothing.) What do you think of the braid trend? Have you tried it?
